Taejae University, headquartered in Seoul, Korea, is a newly founded university by the Taejae University Foundation. Job Description

1. Job Title: Global (Part-Time) Assistant

2. Organization: Taejae University - Office of Student Recruitment 

3. Type of Contract: Part-time job (a minimum of 3-month contract) 

4. Expected Working Period : August 19, 2024 - November 15, 2024

5. Working Languages: English and Chinese

6. Working Hours: 

• Requires commitment of 7.5 hours per day for 2 days per week 

(in total 15 hours per week)

7. Salary wage: 15,000 won / hour

Duties & Responsibilities

This assignment includes but are not limited to the following tasks: 

• Activities/Event support: Assist in coordination and the organization of meetings and activities of Office of Student Recruitment, such as hosting and arranging visits, meetings, and events, and etc.

• Public Relations (PR) activities support : Assist in production of Taejae related promotional materials such as brochures, social media posts, video contents, etc.; provide assistance in managing social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Wechat, Xiaohongshu, etc.), and etc.

Qualifications and Skills 

1. Potential candidates should be enrolled as an international undergraduate or graduate in Korea-based university

2. Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is required. 

3. Advanced computer skills are required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Hancom etc.)

**Interns will have the opportunity to :**

- Be a part of product squad, working side by side with PO, engineers, and designers to formulate
hypothesis and find the product market fit
- Conduct user interviews and market research of the kpop industry
- Recruit global fandom interviewees and beta testers for our initial service on a regular basis
- Perform basic translation and review tasks for UI/UX and content
- Present weekly insight review with team and participate in product meetings

**Interns must :**

- Have much experience being in a K-pop fandom (current or past) and have a solid understanding of
social media and mobile services used by global K-pop fandom, especially in the US/EUR market
- Have an innate curiosity about identifying problems and a proactive attitude
- Communicate fluently in English and Korean (English native, Korean proficient)
- Be able to document and present your findings
- Be able to manage schedules and deadlines in a diligent manner
- Holders of H-1, F-4, F-2, E-7, D-10 visas
